Zombie Pride!!!

So, today turned out to be something comeletely unexpected. I went downtown for music crazyness (all by myself too! :D I'm such a big girl now) but it didn't really work out, because no one came to play instraments. i was going to be a human tambourine, and some other guy brought a whistle, so I guess the while thing wasn't really planned out well.

It sucks how people say that they'll go, and then they never show up! Like the Silent Rave. We probably would've been stopped anyway by the Millennium Park security guards, for something stupid like "disturbing the peace". Why can't we disturb? Why?? That park is the most perfect place to do any kind of Improv Everywhere stunt!

Anyway, so I met up with these three guys from the internet, and we found out that the 2008 Chicago Zombie March was today. So we couldn't pass that opportunity up, of course. We paraded all around town, while all the zombies screamed for brains and such, especially when a tour bus drove by. I took a picture of this one girl, and I was all like "Smile!" but she just sort of stared at me with a bloodthirsty look on her face. We passed a couple of Blackberry mascots on the way, which got mauled, and had a few bloody fingerprints on them afterwards. Then we all went to McDonald's for lunch. I only went in to see what a McDonald's full of zombie's would look like, but I ended up getting a chicken sandwich because I had a free coupon and I was starving (no brains for me).

They'll probably do this again next year, since it seems to be an annual thing. I definitely would've dressed up if I knew about it! So who wants to join me?

Blogged From The Archives #1 - (My First BNL Concert)

So it's late, I can't sleep, and nostalgia has taken a hold on me. I've been looking at old Polaroids, reading old blogs, and thinking old thoughts. So, I found this blog entry from 3 years ago on my old blog, and 3 days after I went to see Barenaked Ladies for the first time. So, until I can figure out how to make my copy/fax/scanner machine to work and scan my baby photos, here's my blast from the past for you.

P.S. A blogger by the alias of "broomhilda" used to always comment on my blog entries. I never knew who s/he was, but they were quite awesome. If broomhilda is reading this right now, then please comment and tell me who you are, and why you read my blog?
EDIT- by reading some more of "broomhilda"'s comments, I realized that it was actually Will... haha.

yay! i cant believe i forgot to write about the MOST AWEOSME CONCERT EVER!!!!!!!!!!! it was so fun! we may have been balconies away from the stage at the auditorium theatre, but that didn't stop anyone from having a good time! so when we got there, we saw the opening band, the leevees. they were ok, all they sang about were hanukkah songs tho. then when they left they let the curtain down. then a bunch of little kids came onto the stage dressed in these cute little outfits. lol. i was like, woah i wasnt expecting that!the little kids sang a few songs, then barenaked ladies came on and sang with them! they played christmas and hanukkah songs, and they played some of my favorite songs such as: one week, brian wilson, if i had $1,000,000, aluminum, second best, jingle bells. there were songs that i wanted them to play but they never did. the band members were funny. they told funny stories about things that happened to them. there was this one thing that they did that i loved, they put all their names into a hat and drew out who would be playing each instrament. so then everyone switched instraments and played a song. when they played any song, ppl would sing alond, including myself :-P this was the best concert ive ever been to and if i could, i would go see them again and agina and again!
