SO many things have been stressing me out for no reason lately. I wanna go home!
Oh, wait... I AM home!
Can I please stay?
Halloween has come and gone again. I didn't do anything special, just like last year. I don't think I'm ever going to celebrate Halloween again. It's just lost all the fun since I was a kid, when all we would do was trick-or-treat and eat candy. I tried to revive it by hosting Halloween parties at my house during high school, but who's gonna have fun if there isn't any alcohol involved?
My favorite movie is the Nightmare Before Christmas, and just watching that movie is enough Halloween fun for me.
Plus, it would be nice to have friends to celebrate with in the first place.
Anyway, there's bigger fish to fry.
NaNoWriMo starts in less than 2 hours, and I've been crackin' my knuckles to get ready for all that typing I'm going to do. I'm even in the perfect mood to type in first person as my melancholy main character. Present tense will be an interesting change too, lately it's been weirdly easy to type in the present rather than the past.
Hmm, I wonder if anyone writes in future tense?
Nah, that'd just be weird.
But maybe...
Throughout all of senior year I got myself all excited for college, but it just hasn't been living up to my expectations lately. I need a distraction. Hmm.
"As Karina glanced over to the sidebar of her blog, She realized this: She does have a distraction. National Novel Writing Month? Pssh, she's done that twice. No problemo. The perfect diversion from her current thoughts."
I'm know I'm weird, and I'm not sorry about it. Just nod and smile, and maybe I'll go away.

OXBLOW!!!
Yeah, so Ox-bow was pretty fun. The best part was the jam session... with my teacher! And other students! At midnight!
The worst part was finding a spider in my bacon this morning...
I'm never having bacon again! X(
In other news, the big exciting event of NANOWRIMO is approaching ever so fast. It's only a month and a half and a way, and I feel like I should start planning my novel already. Or maybe I can just wing it this year... hmmmmmm. OR, I should even start thinking about whether or not I should even DO NaNo this year!
Hm...
I didn't think about that for long. I definitely have to do it. Hells yeah, I'm gonna write a 50,000-word novel in 30 days! I just can't wait to get all stressed out about homework, and classes, and NaNo, and (if I get a job) work! I can't wait to go around the corner and have my intense writing sessions with a cup of tea and my Mac Book Pro. I can't wait to complain about how stressed I'm making myself, on purpose! I can't wait to meet all the Chicago people who are going to be writing all at the same time!!!
Man, I get waaay too easily excited... I think I almost 'gasmed because of it. That's how much I love writing. And NaNoWriMo.

Je suis finis!
At around 9:30, November 30th, 2007, I wrote a 50,000-word novel! I'm proudly wearing my pin now that says, "Novelist"! Ohhh, I can't wait until I go pick up my cheesecake that I ordered from the band... it's Oreo and I'm salivating just thinking about it... mmmm Oreo... *Homer Simpson gargle/drool*
Anyway, I'm still not done with the plot though. No worries, it was expected. :-P I'll finish it after a bit of rest. I've also decided to write everyday, even though I'm done with NaNo. It's a very good habit to get into. I won't be writing 1,667 words a day, but hey, at least I'll be writing something!
Yes, perhaps I will use this blog to do that, though I know that I will most definitely write things I don't want people to see, like the extra personal stuff I never write here. Why? Because... actually, I can't think of a good reason, other than offending someone just in case they stumble upon a nasty comment that I write.
::coughcoughihatethatbradleykidfrommyscienceclasswithaburningpassioncougcough::
Anyway, with the writing thing, there are other things I don't want to post here. You know, just in case I do become famous, and have to worry about publishing/copyrighting stuff. Yeah, I've heard that if you post something online, on a website such as FictionPress.com, which I used to use a lot, until sometime last November. What a coincidence!

23735/50000
Felt very productive today, yet the day is not yet over! I can still write more, but alas, homework s calling my name once again, and I have to get it done because tomorrow's the last day before Thanksgiving break, and I'm missing half my classes to work on the Grandparents Day video. If only my grandpa could fly in just a few days earlier, so I could join in... oh well, I guess it'll be good experience working in the media center for half the day. Plus, I'll get free food, and more experience with Final Cut. I made a logo for the event today, and while I'm not too impressed with myself, it's still pretty good. It's passable. But I guess I'm just saying that because I've done cooler, more creative things. Maybe tomorrow I'll work on more logos, or something, but our tech director said he liked the one I made already, and I don't think I'll give him too many choices, as he'll be busy enough tomorrow.
In other news, it hurts when I breath for some odd reason. My mom, who knows mostly everything about the human body, says that one of the muscles that is attached to my ribcage is to blame. That's not what she said exactly, but it was something like that. Anyway, it just hurts the breath deeply, and it kills me to yawn.
Ugh, I need this Thanksgiving break so badly... lots and food and lots of words! I think I should make that my motto for this break.
"Lots of food and even more words!"
I hope I don't get a stomach ache. Or, in this case, a hand cramp, from writing so much!
Oh, and thanks to those who left me comments from the NaNoWriMo forums, I 'ppreciate it!

Doooooooooooomed...
Yay, it's Tuesday again! Tuesday is such a dull day, just like November is a dull month... if you don't participate in National Novel Writing Month! If only I could write a novel once a week on Tuesdays... now that's an idea. See THIS SITE for more details!
Today in school I learned about how the human race is doomed. I also learned that the Mayan calendar predicted that the world would end in the year 2012. Then I had an idea to fly off and risk my life to save the rain forest, because it might somehow save the human race in the long run. then I found out that people already have died trying to protect the rain forest, and they still won't stop destroying it just because it makes good money.
I feel so insignificant sometimes.
